Banned Book Club: All the Rivers

  • Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center 564 South Stone Avenue Tucson, AZ, 85701 United States (map)

Join us for our final Banned Book Club of the season! We’ll discuss All the Rivers, a romance novel that has faced censorship from the Israeli educational system.

This month's Banned Book Club will be moderated by Rabbi Thomas Louchheim. Rabbi Louchheim received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance from Georgetown University and completed his rabbinical studies at the Rabbinic Studies Program of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. In Tucson, Rabbi Louchheim has served as Assistant Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El, Chaplin at Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging, Rabbi at Or Chadash, and Co-Rabbi at Kol Ami. He established the first Jewish-Christian-Muslim scriptural study group and helped organize Tucson’s annual Jewish-Muslim Peace Walks. He retired in 2023 and became the emeritus rabbi of Kol Ami.

This event is free but registration is required.
