Partners

The JCRC is proud to participate in the following initiatives:

As partisan polarization increases in the U.S., so does the risk of political and identity-based violence. An initiative of the Carter Center, the AZDRN is a cross-partisan network working to decrease the risk of political and identity-based violence and uphold minimum democratic and nonviolent standards.

Constructive dialogue and civic engagement are critical for resolving conflict and increasing respect for those with differing views. AZDRN members represent diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and affiliations and are committed to building a platform for respectful dialogue and the dissemination of accurate information.

Arizona Faith Network

Arizona Faith Network is dedicated to bringing people together to promote peace and understanding through interfaith education and dialogue, as well as healing the world through collaborative social action. They are committed to both civil dialogue and transformational action, seeking to keep our faiths and beliefs as an inspiration and direction for all that they do.

The JCRC participates on AFN’s Social Justice Commission, the branch of the network engaging in justice and advocacy work.

Root Change

Root Change brings people together to question assumptions, think deeply, test ideas and lead the way to a world built on social justice principles.

The Jewish Partnership for Democracy

As part of our commitment to the Partnership, we will create a hub for democracy resilience, civic engagement, and anti-polarization resources, convening the community around collaborations, educational opportunities, and public presentations. This work will include a series of “Courageous Conversations” – dinner parties where people of diverse backgrounds and disparate opinions can explore challenging topics in a safe, respectful environment.

Project Over Zero

Over Zero was founded in response to the global need to counteract and prevent identity-based violence and other forms of group-targeted harm. While the organization spent many years working in international conflict areas, they have recently turned their attention to the United States, specifically Ohio and Arizona, to build political violence resilience networks around democracy resilience and election integrity.

Their domestic work, Project Over Zero, focuses on states where false narratives and election interference have gained traction, creating risks for democratic processes and threatening civil society. Our JCRC is working with Project Over Zero to create a gather community leaders across sectors to identify anti-democracy risks specific to our state and then help build peacebuilding infrastructure.

Jewish Council for Public Affairs

Since 1944, the JPCA has worked to strengthen and leverage the Jewish community relations network to champion a just, democratic and pluralistic society where all members, including Jews, enjoy the rights of full inclusion and can live free of discrimination, hate and prejudice.

National Council for Jewish Women Arizona

NCJW confronts today’s most urgent social and economic challenges facing women, children & families. Their mission is to safeguard human and civil rights and improve the quality of lives across all communities. To ensure the dignity of each individual, they strive to impact policy from the State House to the White House.

As part of their advocacy for reproductive justice, gender equity, ending sexual and domestic violence, and bodily autonomy, NCJWAZ is a community partner on the Arizona for Abortion Access coalition, the group looking to codify the right to abortion (at any time until viability) into the Arizona constitution.

The Dare to Care coalition stands in solidarity with LGBTQ teens, young adults, and their families, committing to safe and supportive emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual care, as a direct response to the threat of anti-gay policies and legislation in our state.

Multifaith for Pride

Multifaith for Pride is an ad hoc coalition of local clergy and congregants united in their commitment to creating affirming religious spaces for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pima County Interfaith

By working across the lines of religious beliefs, political philosophies, ethnicities, and economic levels that divide our community, PCI is able to represent the great cultural, economic, and religious variety in Pima County. A broad-based, relational lens allows PCI to organize around issues that impact families and communities at the local and regional levels. The group is politically non-partisan. JCRC has been a member organization since 2023.
