Resource Center

Directly north of the museum is a late 1800's Territorial house, one of few still standing in Tucson's original, and now trendy, neighborhood, The Barrio. The Jewish History Museum has just completed the purchase of this structure for our badly needed Resource Center. When renovated, the building will house a growing Jewish genealogy library and research lab, as well as a holocaust research/study library. The Toby Sydney Southwest Jewish Library will be relocated from its current location-the upper level of the museum building-allowing access by all.

When completed, the center will provide for expanded resources for the entire community and promises to be a major destination for visitors from across the region. You can help speed this project by contributing to the JHM Resource Center Project. Naming opportunities are available, as well as under writing sponsorship of each room. Help make the Jewish History Museum the Jewish showplace of Southern Arizona! Call 670-9073 for more information.
